TIS is used for traffic information in city and urban enviroments. The system collects data via available infrastructure (inductive loops, cameras). In urban areas we use satellite (video) and GSM communication.

The data which are analyzed and displayed are:

• number of cars which are passing
• vehicle qualification
• speed of the vehicles
